Tuesday Tutorial for THAW!

OK - I love love love to recycle - especially cardbaord - like you didn;t know that if you come here often!!

So-when JilliBean Soup came out with the new cardboard alpha - I had to make my own!!

I stripped a piece of cardboard I cut from a box (think Studio Calico kit box)The found a set of Basic Grey nekkid chipboard letters in the size I wanted. I flipped the cardboard over and then traced the letters (be sure to flip the letters upside down so when you cut them out the front side facces the correct way)
Then cut out the letters....and Walla!!Then I added some Tim Holtz distress paint to the letters just so I could get a little messy! I am working on a shadow box for his room so I have to male this up a little bit. Chunky and Funky coming soon. ;)
I hope this gives you some creative ideas for making your own recycled alpha.
